还是孩童时便常去拜谒那数仞高墙。
绿水近来流经王俭的府第，
如今在买臣的故乡见到锦衣还乡的景象。

忽然蒙你赠予新诗，意味更加深长。
乡里闲适悠游，正有许多闲暇时光，
有幸你能时常来访我的读书堂。

In years past, I followed office to Junyang's land,
As a youth, I oft approached the lofty walls so grand.
The green stream now flows near the mansion of Wang Jian,
The brocade robes are seen in Zhu Maichen's home terrain.
How kind you are to recall the tales of yesteryear,
Your new poem, sent by chance, tastes longer and more dear.
In my village, leisure and ease are ample and free,
I'm glad you visit my study now and then to see.
