天气寒冷，一年又到了尽头，
地方偏僻，是海的一角。
经历世事，内心反而更加豪壮；
遇到他人，言语有时却收敛起来。
蛟龙一旦得到云雨的助力，
便能从灵湫中腾跃千丈之高。

Walking in the sun, I ask my shadow, why do you linger here?
The sky is cold, the year draws to its close,
The land is remote, a corner by the sea.
Through worldly affairs, my heart grows ever bolder;
Meeting others, my words may sometimes be restrained.
Like a dragon gaining clouds and rain,
It rises a thousand fathoms from the sacred pool.
