一日之间生死相隔，
平生的父子情分就此终结。
暮年遭遇逆境，
老泪纵横，沾湿了清秋时节。
浪涛汹涌，明珠沉入海底，
天色昏暗，沟壑中失去了舟楫。
云霄中坠落了大雕与鹗鸟，
天厩里丧失了骏马骅骝。
万里之外车轴折断，
百年的时光如江汉之水奔流。
我的一生如今已然完结，
世间万事，都付与那悠悠长空。

A single day parts us, life from death, forever.
The bond of father and son is severed, now and ever.
In twilight years, I meet adversity's sting.
Old tears fall, dampening the clear autumn's wing.
Waves rage, the pearl sinks deep into the sea.
Skies darken, the ravine loses its boat, carefree.
From misty heavens, the eagle and hawk descend.
The celestial stable mourns its steed, its end.
A thousand miles away, the carriage axle breaks.
A hundred years flow on, like the river that takes.
My life, from this day forward, is done, is through.
The affairs of this world, I leave to the vast and blue.
