绿色的葵菜刚刚长出嫩芽，
青翠的桂树渐渐形成荫蔽。
独自拖着山间的竹杖前往，
不必劳烦车马前来寻访。
在这湛然常寂的居所深处，
水月交映，一座庵堂幽深独处。

Elegantly I've found a place to retire,
A spot so pure, fit for a recluse's desire.
The green mallows just sprout their tender sheaths anew,
While laurel trees, in shade, are steadily growing true.
Alone, with my bamboo staff, to the hills I go,
No need for carriages to seek me, high or low.
In this abode of constant stillness, deep and clear,
Like water and moon, my hermitage lies without peer.
