常常那些倚靠栏杆的人，
空自仰慕张翰那样的贤才。

Lie further still, by water and cloud's light.
Where moonlight clacks on wooden fish at night,
And autumn wind slices the fish so white.
The wise, aloof, from worldly cares take flight;
Such pure scenes make one forget time's swift flight.
How often, leaning on rails, in vain they cite
The worthy Zhang Han, who chose to live aright.
