草木呈现出寒冷的色调，
远望过去，秋意更加清朗。
一叶扁舟横在遥远的夜月之下，
风儿吹过，隔着城墙传来更夫的梆声。
我避世隐居的心意虽然还在，
但辞去官职的奏疏尚未递上。
徒然愧对往昔一同吟诗的友人，
只能写几句诗，试图延续唐代诗歌的风韵。

Gazing afar, autumn grows even clearer.
A boat lies athwart the distant night moon,
Wind passes through, beyond the city wall, a watchman's call.
