我前往山中采集草药，
攀登跋涉，不知不觉已走了很远。
这幽深的源头没有尘世的痕迹，
满地都是灵性的嫩芽。
山岩高远，背阴处留存着积雪，
溪水清澈，可以看见洁净的沙底。
可怜那些追逐名利的过客，
大概会嘲笑我这样的生活吧。

I go to the mountains to gather herbs,
Climbing and scrambling, I lose all sense of distance.
In these deep springs, no trace of vulgar world remains,
The ground is covered with numinous sprouts.
On the distant cliffs, shade holds the lingering snow,
In the clear stream, pure sand is seen below.
Pitiful are those who chase fame and gain,
They would surely laugh at this life of mine.
