（洞庭湖）险要坚固，在三苗故地的左侧，
浩渺无垠，位于云梦七泽的西边。
山峦的光影在千重叠嶂中显得微小，
碧蓝的天空从四面低垂下来。
顺风时，漫长的路途也觉得近了，
波涛汹涌，令人每一步都感到惊惶迷失。
有谁能懂得鱼和鸟的快乐，
它们不再需要等待战鼓的声响。

Secure on the left of the Three Miao tribes,
Vast and boundless, west of the seven lakes.
Mountain hues diminish in a thousand folds,
The azure sky hangs low on all four sides.
With fair wind, the long road seems near,
Startled by waves, each step is lost.
Who knows the joy of fish and birds,
No longer waiting for drums of war?
