This village home has merits of its own.
My servant, frail, wears mugwort round his waist;
My maid, fair-faced, adorns her hair with blooms.
When songs end, frogs urge on their merry tunes;
When wine runs dry, bees swarm like courtiers thronged.
Before my gate, few carriages or steeds—
I'm shamed before the mansions of the great.
