清晨我眺望南山的云，
傍晚我观赏西山的月。
云气景物时有时无，
月亮形体交替圆缺。
月光明亮时，云彩显得鲜明灿烂；
云散开时，月亮显得奇妙绝伦。
在屈伸变化的根本道理之中，
不要说我的生命笨拙不灵。

At dawn I gaze upon the clouds over the southern hills,
At dusk I watch the moon above the western hills.
Clouds and mists now appear, now vanish,
The moon's disk waxes and wanes in turn.
When the moon is bright, clouds are radiantly displayed;
When clouds disperse, the moon appears wondrously pure.
Within the principle of contraction and expansion,
Say not that my life is clumsy or inept.
