水色在深处由白转黑，
山色在远处看似黄却自有青意。
万物色彩纷杂没有定准，
哪一种才是真实的形貌呢？
永不毁坏的只有太极之理，
长久存在的唯有六经典籍。
不必疑惑清晨镜中的自己，
乌黑的漆发已换作了星星白发。

The water, white in depth, turns black again;
The mountains, yellow from afar, appear green.
All colors shift, unsettled and in vain—
Which form, then, is the true one to be seen?
Unchanging is the Great Ultimate alone;
Eternal, only the Six Classics remain.
Do not doubt the mirror at the break of dawn—
The pitch-black hair has turned to silver grain.
