船舵迎着倾斜的河岸转向，
竹席避开断崖的边缘行驶。
船底像龟壳般缓慢移动，
沿着羊肠般曲折的水路。
多年来行走在西蜀的道路上，
从未有过这般如鹤如琴的船。

Land and man grow familiar with each other,
Sky seems to merge with water in the distance.
The rudder turns to meet the slanting shore,
The bamboo mat avoids the broken cliff's edge.
Like a turtle's shell, the boat moves slowly at the bottom,
Along winding paths as narrow as sheep's intestines.
For years on the roads of western Shu,
I've never had a crane-and-lute boat like this.
