时节已说是秋天了，却转而更加炎热，
奇怪那白日竟驱使着流云飞回。
迅雷过耳，快得来不及掩住耳朵，
倾盆大雨骤然降下——不知从何而来？
对着灯盏与火盆，暂且收起手中的扇子，
心中惦记着药包，且停下饮酒的杯子。
更怜惜天上牛郎织女佳期将近，
颇觉得人间的七夕节令在催迫着人。

The year says it's autumn, yet the heat returns with might;
Strange that the white sun drives the flying clouds back in flight.
A sudden thunder passes the ear, too fast to cover;
A pouring rain overturns the basin—from where, I wonder?
Facing the lamp and brazier, I put away my fan;
Concerned with medicine packets, I pause my drinking plan.
Even more, I pity the fine celestial date draws near;
Quite aware the human festival urges here.
