四季的轮转是多幺迅速！
秋天的气息降下寒霜白露，
春天的生机附着于草木。
天道运行自有更迭替代，
人间世故足以反复翻覆。
边塞老翁丢失了良马，
宋国的农夫却得到白犊。
这种道理由来并非始于今日，
眼前的损失未必不会成为福气。

How swift the turn of the four seasons!
Autumn's breath descends with frost and dew,
Spring's affairs are woven into grass and trees.
The way of heaven has its cycles of change,
The affairs of the world are full of overturns.
The old frontiersman lost his fine steed,
The Song farmer gained a white calf.
This principle did not begin today,
What seems a loss may not be a misfortune.
