今日心情惨淡，毫无乐趣，
想到这一年即将过去。
侧耳聆听丝竹演奏的音乐，
令我的忧思得以舒缓。
幸好壶中的酒尚未喝空，
我们斟酌对饮，相互娱乐。
起初还玩赏着百草鲜花，
如今万木又已枯萎凋零。
姑且把此地当作一笑的场所吧，
千古之后，我们都将归于丘墟。

Today my heart is heavy, joy has fled,
As I reflect the year is almost dead.
But listening to the music's gentle strain,
My anxious thoughts begin to ease their pain.
Luckily, wine and cups are not yet bare,
We pour and drink, sharing a moment's care.
Once we admired flowers on the grass,
Now all the trees stand withered, alas.
Let us then share a smile, though brief and slight,
For all ends in the mounds of endless night.
