塞翁失马，我有什么可失去的呢？
在濠水边观鱼，每每感到自惭形秽。
伸手入袖，只空有祢衡那样的名刺；
径直叩门而入，就像阿戎那样畅谈。
只想着和元亮一起共饮浊酒；
何必效仿仲堪去进行清谈呢？
回首望去，世间众生皆苦累不堪；
蚁穴蜗角般微小的利益，争斗正酣。

What loss of mine could match the old frontiersman's steed?
By Hao's stream, I watch the fish and feel ashamed indeed.
My sleeve holds but an empty card, like Mi Heng's of old;
I knock and enter straight to talk, as A'rong was bold.
I only long to share coarse wine with Yuanliang the sage;
Why must I ape Zhong Kan in pure discourse of the age?
Looking back, I see the world is full of toil and pain;
Ant-hills and snail-horns see the battles rage in vain.
