落日在青翠的山峦之外西沉，
寒冷的烟霭笼罩着古树的梢头。
犬吠声隔着村落隐隐传来，
渔火星星点点，照亮了一半的沙洲。
江边郊野的屋舍历经兴衰变迁，
野渡口的舟船或行或停，自在飘游。
夜深时分，风雨交加，势头凶猛，
却还有人独自倚靠着这层层高楼。

Cold mists shroud the ancient trees, one by one.
Barks from a dog drift over the village wall,
And fishing lights gleam on the islet, half and all.
Rise and fall of huts by the riverside,

Deep in the night, the wind and rain rage fierce,
Yet someone still leans on the tower, tier on tier.
