翛然柳下锻，岂不遗世喧。

xiāo rán liǔ xià duàn， qǐ bù yí shì xuān。

ㄒㄧㄠㄖㄢˊ ㄌㄧㄡˇ ㄒㄧㄚˋ ㄉㄨㄢˋ，ㄑㄧˇ ㄅㄨˋ ㄧˊ ㄕˋ ㄒㄩㄢ。

一忤贵公子，鸣弦竟谁冤。

yī wǔ guì gōng zǐ， míng xián jìng shuí yuān。

他在柳树下悠然自得地打铁，

这难道不是遗弃了世间的喧闹吗？

一旦触怒了那位贵公子，

最终是谁拨动琴弦（陷害），谁蒙受了冤屈？

他性情刚烈，才华又出众，

孙登（对他）的评语意味深长。

Could this not drown the clamor of the world's vain plight?

Once he offended a nobleman of high degree,
