只见它形状如珪，孤悬天际。
桂子飘落，传递着秋天的讯息。
方诸承接露水，仿佛寄托着夜鸟的啼鸣。
建章宫的残漏声催促着时光流逝。
它又伴随着玉绳星低沉下去。

It guards alone where the orb is incomplete.
And dwells in solitude when the circle is whole.
Never have I heard of two jades joined as one.
Only seen it shaped like a crescent, pale and lone.
Cassia seeds drop, heralding autumn's retreat.
The moon-mirror holds the nightjar's mournful call.
At Jianzhang Palace, the water-clock runs late.
Again it sinks low with the Jade Rope stars, to wait.
