诗歌内容

太行山下列儿孙，重叠千峰浪势奔。

tài háng shān xià liè ér sūn， chóng dié qiān fēng làng shì bēn。

近麓萦回藏胜地，先坟长远得安村。

jìn lù yíng huí cáng shèng dì， xiān fén cháng yuǎn dé ān cūn。

虽荣不及丰亲养，更病须来洁祭樽。

白话文翻译

太行山脚下排列着子孙后辈，

重重叠叠的千座山峰如浪涛般奔涌。

山麓近处，曲折回环隐藏着胜地，

先祖的坟墓在这长远的安宁村落中得以保存。

虽然荣华不及丰盛地奉养双亲，

即便抱病也须前来洁净地祭奠酒樽。

想要让宗族中人知道应竭尽全力，

各自思虑忠孝之道以光大我们的家门。

At the foot of Taihang Mountains, descendants stand in line,

Peaks upon peaks surge forward like waves in grand design.

Near the foothills, a winding path hides a blessed ground,

Where ancestral graves in a peaceful village are found.

Though glory cannot match the care parents once knew,

Despite illness, I must come with pure wine to renew.

To let the clan know we must strive with all our might,

Each thinking of loyalty and filial duty to make our family bright.
