风声起初非常细微，
雨势近来频频加剧。
篱边的菊花丛丛湿润，
菜畦里的各种蔬菜都沾满了雨水。
我沉思着，仍静静聆听，
香炉陪伴着书签，心境安宁。

Rain reaches the eaves of the empty mountain.
At first, the sound of wind is faint and low,
Then the downpour's force grows, nearing the fountain.
Clustered chrysanthemums by the fence are moistened,

In deep thought, I listen in silence, poised then,
With incense tripod and bookmarks, solitude.
