明月池边，是国一禅师的道场，
残存的僧人依旧占据着三间椽屋。
和暖的南风正把门前的树木吹得碧绿，
积聚的雨水都已澄清，流入山涧下的溪流。
他坐断千峰，究竟是为了何事？
他身轻百劫，本源又是什么因缘？
竹轿中有位客人，登临此地已久，
斋饭过后，茶碗中的香气如烟般飘散。

At the head of the Bright Moon Pond, the Nation's First Chan master dwells,
A few remaining monks still occupy these three rafters' space.
The warm wind now turns the trees before the gate a deeper green,
The gathered waters have all cleared in the stream below the ravine.
Why did he sit, severing the thousand peaks, for what great cause?
How did his body, light through a hundred kalpas, find its source?
A guest in a bamboo litter has been climbing and gazing long;
After the temple meal, from the tea bowl, fragrance drifts like smoke.
