Yet pure is the hermit's home where profound thoughts hold sway.
A side path winds open at the mountain's mouth,
A long bridge stretches across the water's south.
In cold years, mume blossoms play with their buds so light,
When spring arrives, willow twigs stretch their sprouts in sight.
Returning late to the town when day is done,
I see time's flow and nature's splendor as one.
