沉沉的雨下了三天，
滚滚的风吹过四面的山峦。
积水洼地任由漂浮物泛滥，
重重阴云弥漫，气势渐长。
深居简出，哪里需要木屐？
矮小的屋子暂且可以遮风挡雨。
急切地收敛身心，安定下来，
徐徐地观察，鼻息变得通畅。

For three long days, the rain has fallen deep and drear,
Over the four hills, the winds in torrents roar.
Pools and puddles swell, floating debris appears,
The mass of gloom spreads, growing strong and more.
In deep seclusion, what need have I for clogs?
My lowly hut can yet provide a sheltering screen.
Urgently, I gather my body and mind to dwell,
Slowly, I watch as my breath flows calm and serene.
