乌云惨淡地堆积，天色昏暗，
雨丝连绵不断地垂落。
这雨定是前来洒扫道路，
并非故意催人作诗。
暑热消解并非没有益处，
凉意滋生正是适宜之时。
屏翳（雨神）如此多情，
与我嬉戏，便是相知。

Gloomy, gloomy, the cloud masses darken overhead,
Endless, endless, the rain threads hang low and spread.
It must have come to sprinkle the path clean,
Not purposely to urge a poem's scene.
The heat dissolves, not without benefit,
The coolness born is just what's fit.
So full of feeling is the rain god, see,
To tease is but to show he knows and cares for me.
