白衣心出家,从古推净名。
无疾现有疾,特地真机生。
佛欲遣人问,指示转分明。
宜是诸大士,辞屈不能行。
文殊末后往,万众心已倾。
箭锋相注处,妙义益峥嵘。
芥子容须弥,毛孔受四溟。
此理自灼然,学者疑且惊。
更谈不二门,法法俱见成。
一默岂无语,其声如震霆。

本无疾病却显现病容,
特意示现真正的玄机。
佛陀想派人前去问疾,
指示变得愈发分明。
本应是诸位大菩萨,
却推辞不能前行。
文殊菩萨最后前往,
万众之心早已倾慕。
机锋相对交锋之处,
微妙的义理更加峥嵘突出。
芥子能容纳须弥山,
毛孔可承受四海之水。
这道理本自昭然明白,
求学之人却怀疑且惊骇。
再谈论不二法门,
一切法都圆满现成。
维摩诘的一默岂是无语,
其声犹如雷霆震响。
In white robes, his heart left home's strife,
Since ancient times, Vimalakirti praised in life.
Without illness, he showed a disease,
A special occasion, true mystery to seize.
The Buddha wished to send someone to inquire,
Instructions grew clearer, rising higher.
It should be the great bodhisattvas all,
But they declined, unable to make the call.
Manjushri went last of the throng,
The hearts of the multitude were drawn along.
Where arrow-tips of wit were crossed,
Subtle meanings more splendidly embossed.
A mustard seed holds Mount Sumeru's might,
A single pore contains oceans' infinite.
This principle is self-evident and bright,
Yet scholars doubt and are struck with fright.
Further discussing the Gate of Non-Duality,
Every dharma is seen in its totality.
His silence was not without speech,
Its sound like thunder's mighty reach.
维摩诘的修行体现了在家与出世间治理的智慧。
诗人读《维摩经》,赞叹维摩诘居士的在家修行境界。
