新年伊始，我告别了江边的故土，
在这炎热的天气里，客居在瘴疠弥漫的异乡。
池塘中成群的白鸟在沐浴，
含着雾气的野梅花已泛出嫩黄。
离别的憾恨，让眼前的群山也显得绵长，
为消解愁绪，酒杯总是斟得满满当当。
残存的魂魄终究容易消散，
回首望去，只见一片苍茫。

I left the riverside land as the year began,
In sweltering days, a stranger in miasmic clime.
White flocks of birds bathe in the pond, a gleaming span,
Wild plums in misty hues appear, in yellow prime.
Parting's regret: the hills stretch far within my sight,
To drown my sorrow, wine brims full within the cup.
My lingering soul, so fragile, fades into the night,
I turn my head—a vast and boundless scene wells up.
