My lamp, once extinguished, is hard to relight;
Yet joy returns, for a master is found.
Who shares the delight of a verse so bright?
Its subtle charm is by the heart unbound.
I pace beneath the moon, watching my shadow sway;
I listen to the pines, never tired of their sound.
My name has spread beyond these mountains grey;
Do not regret that from them I was late to stray.
