从银白的宫阙中，紧急的文书如飞羽般疾驰；
想必是雪神滕六正在向虚皇天帝奏报。
他要把蓬莱、阆苑仙山的水，
幻化成芬芳的琼林玉树。
风约束着云边，停下了仙鹤驾驭的车驾；
在冰清月明的天际，霓裳羽衣翩翩起舞。
凤箫啊，请不要吹奏那凄凉的曲调，
徒然催老了梅花，令人肝肠寸断。

From the silver palace, missives fly on urgent wings;
I reckon the Snow God is reporting to the Void Emperor.
He intends to transform the waters of Penglai and Langyuan,
Into a fragrant forest of jade trees and jasper groves.
The wind halts the crane carriage by the edge of the clouds;
On the icy-clear moonlit border, rainbow skirts dance.
Phoenix flute, play not your mournful, desolate tune,
Lest you hasten the plum blossom's aging and break my heart in vain.
