Returning home, a weary traveler I've become.
Content with my lot, I delight in a life of leisure.
I offer fresh water before the Buddha's shrine.
And supervise my son, reviewing old books.
Already neglected are the chrysanthemums along the three paths.
Yet I still plant a garden full of vegetables.
Neighbors come and go, frequent visitors.
But no grand carriages of dignitaries remain.
