我的故乡远在庸地岷山之外，
孤独的根却扎在楚地的园苑之中。
让梅花不要再嫉妒这洁白，
仙家的杏花已然丰饶地绽放着红艳。
转眼间就担心阳城的防线会被攻破，
随即又忧虑下蔡会变得空空荡荡。
何时才能梦回巫峡，
独自伫立，埋怨着这春风呢？

A lonely root takes hold in Chu's garden plain.
Tell the plum to cease envying the white hue,
The fairy apricot already boasts red anew.
Soon I fear the sunlit walls will be breached,
And seek to mourn the empty towers, their beauty leached.
When will I dream of the Wu Gorge's embrace,
Standing alone, lamenting the spring wind's pace?
