人生天地远行客,恋身外物庸非痴。
漫郎仙去五百载,名字永与兹山垂。
要知忠义不磨处,虽不自与人与之。
至今过者望卷石,森然魄动中兴碑。
此公何用专壑鄙,世上宁有争墩儿。
我来访古刜蓬藋,怅然不识亭台基。
扫出蝉噪发斯义,元子可作然吾诗。

溪山对我来说本没有什么,
他却独占,不许旁人窥视。
人生于天地间不过是远行的过客,
贪恋身外之物难道不是痴愚?
漫郎逝去已有五百年,
他的名字却与这座山永垂。
要知道忠义之气不会磨灭之处,
即使自己不标榜,别人也会赋予。
至今路过的人望着这卷石刻,
依然会被中兴碑的气势所震撼。
这位先生何必因独占山谷而被鄙薄,
世上难道还有争夺土墩的痴人吗?
我来探访古迹,割除蓬蒿野草,
怅然间已认不出亭台的基址。
扫除蝉噪,阐发这番道理,
元子若能再生,定会认可我的诗。
The Prefect of Chongling is truly eccentric,
He built a thatched hut to retire by the Xiang River's side.
With novel characters he conceived for the 'Three Wus',
He cast aside the ancient scripts of Cang and Li Si.
What do these hills and streams truly mean to me?
He claimed them all, forbidding others to pry.
Humans in this vast world are but passing guests,
To cling to external things—is that not folly's test?
Five hundred years have passed since the carefree sage's demise,
Yet his name endures forever with these hills and skies.
To know the loyalty and righteousness that never fade,
Though not self-proclaimed, by others they are laid.
Even now, passersby gaze upon this scroll of stone,
Awe-struck by the stele of Restoration, standing alone.
Why should this lord be scorned for claiming a ravine?
In this world, are there those who vie for a mound so mean?
I came to visit the past, clearing weeds and thorn,
Sadly, I could not discern the pavilion's base, forlorn.
Sweeping away cicada noise, I unveil this thought's core,
If Master Yuan could return, he'd approve my lore.

赞美太守隐居湘江之畔的志趣,描绘其超然物外的隐逸生活。
