把那些鼠辈全部处死并陈尸街市。
布衣儒生三十多人,
遭受鞭笞、刺配、黥面,流放千里。
唯独剩下太学的四五个士人,
却以奸臣京城的法令处置。
秦朝宰相不看重宽袍的儒士,
为何只讲忠恕就罢了呢?
这才知道能摇动三寸之舌,
极恶穷凶之徒仍可倚仗。
大理寺若得到皋陶那样的法官,
你们这些人应当羞愧流汗。
Shun was the emperor, Gao Yao the judge;
When Blind Man killed, he was seized and that's all.
The law's three-foot rule has always kept the world in order;
Splitting statutes into two ends is truly despicable.
Recently I heard the bureau swept clean the nest,
Taking all the rat-like fellows and exposing their corpses in the market.
Commoners in cloth and leather belts, over thirty of them,
Were flogged, branded, and exiled a thousand miles away.
Only four or five scholars from the Imperial College were left,
But they were dealt with according to the laws of treacherous Jing.
The Qin minister did not value robed scholars,
Why then stop at loyalty and forgiveness?
Thus I know that wagging a three-inch tongue can suffice,
Even the most wicked and fierce may still rely on it.
If the high court had Gao Yao,
You all should bow your heads in shame.
