怎会效仿小儿女般离别感伤？
反观我自己，性情过于倔强，
却羡慕你真正的才华俊朗。
道义的情谊重过千钧，
名利则轻如一片落叶。
雄风吐纳出霓虹气象，
忠诚之心可贯穿日月。
拔剑相示，肝胆相照，
对镜自照，思虑建功立业。
何时才能像拔起茅草连根而起，
一同跻身于贡献力量的行列？

How could he part like children, lost in affection?
I look at myself, stubborn and unrefined;
I admire your true brilliance of heart and mind.
Weighing more than a thousand jun, our bond of right;
Lighter than a single leaf, fame and gain's slight.
A mighty wind breathes out rainbows across the sky;
Our loyalty shall pierce the sun and moon on high.
I bare my heart, drawing my sword, sincere and true;
Gazing in the mirror, I think of deeds to do.
When shall we, like pulled-up roots, rise side by side,
