楼阁高耸，俯瞰着远处的沙洲，
天空辽阔，我登上红色的阶梯。
云彩散尽，树木却依然矗立，
水面平阔，天空显得更加低垂。
江河湖海分隔了人们的去留，
吴地和楚地横亘在东西方向。
极目远眺，宽慰了我幽寂的怀抱，
愁绪太多，眺望中反而转为迷惘。

The tower stands high, overlooking distant isles,
The sky stretches vast, up the crimson stairs I climb.
Clouds disperse, yet the trees remain steadfast,
Waters level, the sky seems even lower.
Rivers and lakes divide our comings and goings,
Wu and Chu stretch endlessly east and west.
Gazing afar, my secluded heart finds solace,
Yet sorrows abound, and the view turns to haze.
