人的情感与节令景物本就相互关联，
即便强忍着不为秋日悲伤，恐怕也难免感到艰难。
逐渐衰老，身体衰弱，生活的意趣变得索然，
凭高远眺，目光投向暮色中寒冷的天空。
树木能在风前发出长长的呼啸，供人聆听，
山峦也仿佛满怀愁绪，在雨中被观看。
排遣情怀没有别的依靠，唯有凭借诗句，
听着雁鸣与捣衣的砧杵声，我倚靠着栏杆。

Human feelings and seasonal scenes are intertwined by nature's law,
Even if one forces himself not to grieve over autumn, hardship still draws near.
As age advances, the body weakens, life's threads grow thin and taut,
Leaning high, the gaze stretches far into the chilly dusk sky.
Trees can howl long in the wind, a sound for the ear to catch,
Mountains too bear many sorrows, seen through the veil of rain.
To soothe and express, I have no other staff but lines of verse,
With the cry of wild geese and the thud of washing mallets, I lean on the rail.
