刘表既然不能识别他的才能，
又哪里还能指望黄祖去赏识他呢？
他毅然挣脱了束缚与羁绊，
渡过长江，投奔了英明的君主。
他从容地建立了显赫的功勋，
其雄武的声名足以让千古后世惊叹。

The vulgar eye is blind, its vision is confined.
Liu Biao failed to discern the talent in his sight,
Much less could Huang Zu perceive the man of might.
He broke the reins that held him, free at last to soar,
Crossed the great river, found a lord worth fighting for.
With deeds of war his hands the course of history turned,
A name of awe through endless ages has been earned.
