绣着凤凰的帷帐如云般散开，显露出日月光辉般的典章，
天子的车驾从九重天降下，来到这虞舜时代的学宫。
朝见天子的杰出士人如鸿雁般排列成行，
拱卫北极星般的名臣像美玉一样光彩照人地行进。
探求治国之道，贾谊曾称颂五学，
请求训言，戴圣赞美三王的德政。
皇上的内心早已领悟周公的训诫，
天下的安危都系于这太学一堂。

From the nine heavens, the imperial retinue descends to the school of Yu.
Court scholars, like geese in flight, form a distinguished company,
Ministers surrounding the throne, like jade, shine in procession cool.
Seeking the Way, Jia Yi praised the Five Studies' grand design,
Begging for words, Dai Sheng extolled the Three Kings' virtue fine.
The Emperor's heart long grasped the warnings Duke of Zhou did assign,
The safety of the realm all stems from this single hall, a sacred sign.
