稻谷丰收完全有望，
树木茂密最适宜聆听雨声。
预先免除了对饥馑的忧虑神色，
先收获了驱散暑热的功绩。
姑且容忍蛤蟆的喧闹，
暂且以此屏退苍蝇和蚊子。

This year in June, the rain falls day by day,
Over a thousand hills, clouds hang each morn.
The rice harvest is now in full prospect,
The dense trees are most fit to hear its sound.
We first avert the anxious look of famine,
And gather first the merit of breaking heat.
Allow the boastful frogs some slight indulgence,
And for a while, keep flies and mosquitoes screened.
