Severe cold yields to a pale, clear day.
Sunlight must break through, I admit,
How could the wind's voice be kept away?
The ground, still white, holds traces of the freeze;
The sky, turning azure, gradually clears.
Warmer it grows by the Wu Gate with ease—
There, old friends likely wait with welcoming cheers.
