浓重的雾气沾湿了胡须和鬓发，
幽深的树林中草木散发着清香。
山中的人家还没有起床，
马背上，拂晓时分偏偏感到凉意。
晴朗的屋舍前悬挂着新收的麦子，
清寒的田地里插着晚季的秧苗。
近来战事已经平息，
人间烟火渐渐变得稀疏微茫。

The deep woods breathe a fragrance of grass and trees.
The mountain dwellers have not yet stirred from sleep,
On horseback, the dawn feels especially cool.
Sunlit cottages hang newly harvested wheat,

Recently, the turmoil of war has subsided,
The smoke of hearth fires grows faint and distant.
