残缺的月亮挂满空寂的山峦。
水位下降，露出白色的沙滩，
林木稀疏，落叶呈现深红色。
东方升起了早晨的太阳，
这才免除了对艰险路途的畏惧。

I set out early in the chill of dawn,
Though weary in body, my mind is at ease.
From a distant cottage, a rooster crows,
Over the empty hills, a waning moon hangs.
The water recedes, leaving white sandbars bare,
The sparse woods show deep red where leaves have fallen.

And the perils of the journey are left behind.
