炎炎热气在此处得以退却，
开阔的胸襟需要人来承当。
我自满足于这萧疏的意境，
时而飘来细细的清香。
曲臂为枕，无事烦扰，
在闲适中，为了作诗而忙碌。

Behind the ancient hall, bamboos abound;
Before the empty eaves, a couch may be.
Here the sweltering heat is turned around;
The mind's expanse demands serenity.
Content with rustling sounds, my own delight,
At times there comes a subtle, fragrant breeze.
Crooking my arm, with nothing to incite,
In leisure, I am busy writing these.
