山峦被撼动成山谷，截断成溪流。
河南刺史是位年老的文士，
在岩石上以雄健的笔力题字。
清风明月满堂，无处可以安放；
云雾笼罩半壁山崖，仿佛与天齐平。
说起唐朝的英雄往事，
泪水溅洒在长安以西的蜀道旁。

Some five miles from Qiyang, the scene lies here,
Where hills were shaken into vales and streams.
An aged scholar, Governor, drew near,
And on the rock inscribed his forceful dreams.
The hall is filled with wind and moon, no ground to spare;
Clouds veil the cliff halfway, merging with the air.
When heroes speak of Tang's bygone affairs,
Tears splash west of Chang'an, on the Shu path's stairs.
