我生诗酒弄林泉，紫诏三呼出洞天。

wǒ shēng shī jiǔ nòng lín quán， zǐ zhào sān hū chū dòng tiān。

高视尘寰但蚊睫，冷看时辈耸鸢肩。

gāo shì chén huán dàn wén jié， lěng kàn shí bèi sǒng yuān jiān。

ㄍㄠㄕˋ ㄔㄣˊ ㄏㄨㄢˊ ㄉㄢˋ ㄨㄣˊ ㄐㄧㄝˊ，ㄌㄥˇ ㄎㄢˋ ㄕˊ ㄅㄟˋ ㄙㄨㄥˇ ㄩㄢㄐㄧㄢ。

山间已袖婴鳞手，物外今还钓月船。

若使儿曹知此乐，人人同得地行仙。

白话文翻译

我这一生与诗酒为伴，优游于山林泉石之间，

朝廷的紫色诏书再三征召，使我离开了这洞天福地。

我俯视这尘世，觉得它渺小如蚊子的睫毛，

我冷眼旁观当世同辈，看他们耸起肩膀（忙于钻营）。

在山林之中，我已收起了触犯逆鳞（直言进谏）的手，

在世俗之外，如今我重又回到了月下垂钓的船上。

如果让儿孙辈知道这种乐趣，

人人都能成为行走于人间的神仙。

My life is spent with verse and wine amidst woods and springs,

Three times the purple summons called me from my caverned sky.

I look down on the mortal world, a mere lash of the eye,

And coldly watch my peers with shoulders hunched like kites on wings.

In mountains, I've already sheathed my hand that tamed the scale,

Beyond the world, I now return to my moon-fishing boat.

If but my children knew the joy that in this life I dote,

Each one would gain the bliss of an immortal's earthly trail.
