阆仙在晦日惋惜春天归去，
却还欣喜能与他争夺这五日的延迟。
蝴蝶在晚开的花上徘徊，余下些许红晕，
黄莺藏在幽暗的柳枝中，柳条尽皆低垂。
频频催促布谷鸟，为田野谋划农事，
苦苦劝告提壶鸟，大概是为了私己的欢愉。
寄语给诗社中的友人，定要痛饮一番，
喜人的晴日山色，也仿佛舒展了眉头。

Langxian laments spring's parting on the last day of the month,
Yet glad he vies for five more days of its delay.
Butterflies linger on late blooms, a faint blush remains,
Orioles hide in dim willows, branches droop low.
Repeatedly urging the cuckoo to plan for the fields,
Earnestly persuading the wine-jar, perhaps for private joy.
Send word to the club: we must drink deeply,
The bright mountain hues, too, relax their brows in delight.
