年纪老去后，只求生活能够平安。
美酒酿熟时，便想邀请友人共饮；
诗句写成后，胜过得到一官半职。
梅花开放，使天下仿佛一片洁白；
夜深时分，雪花飞舞更添寒意。
用僧人的棉被蒙着头安然入睡，
超然物外，种种忧虑都变得宽解消散。

When sorrow comes, I must force it to depart;
In old age, I seek only peace of heart.
When wine is mellow, I think to call a friend;
A finished poem surpasses an official's end.
Plum blossoms whiten the world under the sky;
Snowflakes deepen the chill as night grows nigh.

All my myriad worries gently fade, serene and deep.
