这与江州司马(白居易)的遭遇有何相干?
我因它(琵琶声与故事)感慨激动而创作此歌行,
一共写下了六百六十个字。
白乐天啊,白乐天,
你平生常为通达之人说话,
为何到了此地却不能释怀?
若不堪忍受贬谪为官,便应归去,
庐山正连接着通往柴桑(陶渊明故乡)的道路。
不去寻找黄菊陪伴陶渊明(那样的隐逸生活),
怎能忍泪湿青衫,面对商人之妇(指琵琶女)?
By the Xunyang River, autumn moon shines bright,
Beneath the yellow reed leaves, autumn winds sigh.
Silver dragons serve wine to the parting guest,
A true man is not bound by children's affection.
From a neighboring boat, the pipa sounds with sorrow,
What has it to do with the exiled Sima's affairs?
Moved by this, I compose a song in lines,
Writing out six hundred and sixty characters.

In life, you often spoke for the enlightened,
Why here are you unable to find release?
If unable to bear exile, then return,
Mount Lu lies close to the road to Chaisang.
Not seeking yellow chrysanthemums to accompany Tao Qian,
How can you bear tears on blue gown, facing the merchant's wife?
