我在屋舍北面漫步，走上西边的城门，
眼前出现一个宽阔平坦的村庄。
稀疏的篱笆围绕着古老的井，
茂密的树木簇拥着高高的坟墓。
我的家庭享有田园生活的乐趣，
百姓们懂得尊重地方长官。
因此我思索着兴盛与衰败之事，
它们的变幻与消逝，就如同秋天的云彩。

I stroll north of my cottage, up to the western gate,
Where a broad, level village opens to my view.
A sparse fence circles an ancient well,
Dense trees embrace the lofty tombs.
My home enjoys the joy of fields and gardens,
The common folk know to respect the local magistrate.
Thus I ponder the rise and fall of worldly affairs,
Their change and vanishing are like autumn clouds.
