一夜南风便吹送着我的小舟轻快前行，
上天仿佛要满足我畅游定川的夙愿。
两岸山崖雄踞海边，潮水拍打着它们的脚底；
万石筑成的堤坝，让水流在此掉头转向。
家家户户的生计都依靠着鱼虾市场的买卖；
处处传来欢歌笑语，那是鼓笛楼中的喧闹。
不必用丹青画笔来描绘这里的风景；
遇到人只管告诉他：这就像个小杭州！

A night of south wind speeds my leaf-like boat along;
Heaven grants my wish to tour the Ding River, so strong.
The cliffs bestride the sea, the tide licks at their feet;
Ten thousand stones guard the bank, where the waters retreat.
Each household thrives on the fish and shrimp market's trade;
Everywhere, joyful sounds from drum-and-flute towers are made.
No need for painted scenes to depict this fine view;
Just tell everyone you meet: 'A little Hangzhou!'
